About the Nature in Art Trust
The Nature in Art gallery is run by a group called the Nature in Art Trust. This trust is a registered charity. A charity is an organization that helps people or a cause, often without making a profit. The trust was started in 1982. It was first known as the "Society for Wildlife Art of the Nations."
In 1987, the trust bought Wallsworth Hall. This is the beautiful building where the museum is located. Princess Alexandra is a special supporter of the trust. She is known as its patron. Lady Philippa Scott was the President of the trust until she passed away in January 2010. She took over this role from her husband, Sir Peter Scott.
