Near Northwest is a special area, or "district," in Harris County, Texas. It's about 16 square miles (41 square kilometers) big. Part of it is inside the city of Houston, and part is in an area not officially part of any city. A group called the Near Northwest Management District helps run things here. Their main office is at the White Oak Conference Center in Houston.

The district has many different kinds of buildings for businesses. There are over 2.5 million square feet (232,257 square meters) of space. This includes places for factories, offices, and stores.

A well-known company, Luby's, has its main office in this district in Houston.

Aldine Independent School District

Some parts of Near Northwest are in the Aldine Independent School District (AISD).
