Nesreen Tafesh is a talented actress and singer who was born in Syria on February 15, 1982. She has Algerian and Palestinian roots.

Early Life and Background

Nesreen Tafesh was born in Aleppo, Syria. Her father is a Palestinian poet and author, and her mother is Algerian. She has seven sisters.

Nesreen studied acting at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Damascus. She graduated from the institute in 2008. Even though she is known as a Syrian actress, she holds Algerian citizenship.

Acting and Singing Career

Nesreen's first acting role was in a TV series about Hulagu Khan. This was while she was still a student. After that, she played a main role in the series Córdoba's Spring. She acted as Subh, who was the wife of Caliph Al-Hakam II.

In 2017, Nesreen started her singing career. She released her first song, "Metghayar Alayi." She used to live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Later, in 2018, she moved to Egypt. There, she acted in the film The Secret Men Club.

Personal Life Journey

While in college, Nesreen was briefly engaged to a Syrian director. She later married an Emirati businessman. This marriage lasted from 2008 to 2013.

In November 2020, she shared news of another engagement. However, that marriage did not happen. In July 2022, she announced her marriage to Sherif Sharkawy. This marriage lasted for five months. The couple reunited in April 2023 but separated again by July of the same year.

In January 2025, Nesreen revealed her marriage to Egyptian businessman Ahmed Johar. This is her third marriage.
