Nesreen's Early Life and Education
Nesreen was born in Aleppo, Syria. Her father, Yousef Tafesh, is a poet and writer from Palestine. Her mother is from Algeria.
She studied acting at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Damascus. She graduated from this special school in 2008. Even though she is known as a Syrian actress, she holds Algerian nationality.

Nesreen's first acting role was in a TV series about Hulagu Khan. This was while she was still studying at the drama institute. After that, she played a main role in the series Rabea Cordoba (Córdoba's Spring). She played Subh, who was the wife of Caliph Al-Hakam II.
In 2017, Nesreen started her singing career. Her first song was called "Metghayar Alayi." She used to live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Later, she moved to Egypt in late 2018. There, she acted in the movie Nadi El-Regal El-Serri (The Secret Men Club).
