In 2016, the French president, François Hollande, visited Netatmo's offices.
Becoming Part of Legrand
At a big technology show in 2018, Netatmo announced new plans. It teamed up with the Muller group to create smart home products. It helps control windows and blinds automatically based on temperature and air quality.
Legrand bought Netatmo in November 2018. Netatmo became part of Legrand's smart home division. The Netatmo brand name continued to be used.
In 2019, Netatmo started a new partnership with Bubendorff. They released a smart solution called iDiamant for Bubendorff roller shutters.
