- Gardenville was once the location of a post office. This post office served the western part of the township. It was open from 1895 until 1902.
New Haven Center
- New Haven Center is another unincorporated community within the township. You can find it at 43°14′56″N 84°46′38″W / 43.24889°N 84.77722°W. This spot also had a post office. It operated for many years, from September 1863 until December 1904.
Sethton
- Sethton is an unincorporated community located at 43°13′11″N 84°46′39″W / 43.21972°N 84.77750°W. It was originally a place where people would trade goods. The community was named after a person named Seth Gardner. Sethton had a post office too, which was open from June 1882 to October 1885, and then again from August 1887 to December 1904.
