New Moscow is a small place in Ohio, United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's not officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Virginia Township in Coshocton County.
History of New Moscow
New Moscow began a long time ago. It started when someone opened a store there. Stores were very important back then because they provided supplies for people living nearby.
The community was officially planned out in 1835. This means people decided where streets and buildings would go. Later, in 1851, a post office opened in New Moscow. Post offices were vital for sending and receiving letters and packages. The New Moscow post office served the community for many years, closing in 1905.
