New Orleans Lager and Ale Brewing Company, usually called "NOLA Brewing Company," is a place in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, where they make beer. It is located in an old warehouse building in a part of the city known as Uptown New Orleans.
About NOLA Brewing
A brewery is a special factory where beer is made. NOLA Brewing Company started making its first "craft beer" in 2009. Craft beer is often made by smaller breweries that focus on unique flavors and traditional methods. The company celebrated its seventh year of making beer in 2016 with some special new drinks.
A New Start for Brewing
For a while, after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, there were no big breweries working in New Orleans. The Dixie Brewing Company facility had closed down. NOLA Brewing Company was the first to open again in the city, bringing beer-making back to New Orleans.
Where to Find NOLA Beer
Today, you can find NOLA Brewing Company's products in many bars across the southeastern part of the United States. They also sell large kegs and smaller packs of their beer in grocery stores all over Louisiana.
