New Synagogue, Berlin facts for kids
The Neue Synagoge (which means "New Synagogue" in German) is a special building in Berlin, Germany. It's a synagogue, which is a place of worship for Jewish people. You can find it on Oranienburger Straße in the Mitte area of Berlin.
This amazing building was built a long time ago, between 1859 and 1866. It has a unique look called Moorish architecture. This style is inspired by buildings from North Africa and Spain, often with colorful designs and domes.
Today, the Neue Synagoge is still an active place of worship. It holds services for people who follow Conservative Judaism.
