Newcastle, Ohio facts for kids
Newcastle is a small place in Coshocton County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community," which means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger Newcastle Township.
History of Newcastle
Newcastle was first planned and settled way back in 1808. Many years later, in 1833, a post office opened there. A post office is where people could send and receive letters and packages. This post office served the community for a long time, until it closed in 1929.
