Nic Chagall's Music Career
Nic Chagall is a very active music producer. He has created many tracks over the years. He travels around the world every weekend to perform at clubs. This has made him a well-known and creative producer in the EDM scene.
In 2006, Chagall started making solo music again. His first solo song, "Monday Bar," became a big hit around the world. Famous DJs like Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, and Armin van Buuren supported his song. It was played often on trance music podcasts and radio shows.
His second song, "What You Need," became his signature tune. It mixed popular, exciting melodies with progressive trance music and strong rock sounds. Thousands of fans came to watch him DJ at big events like Trance Energy and Mysteryland. This song also led to many unofficial mixes and requests for new versions. In 2008, "What You Need" was re-released with new remixes, and Marco V's version became very popular.
A few weeks later, Chagall released his second group of songs, "Sun Red" / "Sky Blue." These songs also did very well on music charts. For example, they quickly reached the top three on Djdownload.com.
Remixing Other Artists' Music
As a remixer, Nic Chagall has worked on songs for many artists. These include Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Marcel Woods, Filo & Peri, and Wippenberg. The band Above & Beyond were very impressed by his work. They even voted him their producer of the year in 2007. In 2008, he played at many trance music festivals worldwide. This included Mysteryland, where he performed on Tiësto's "In Search of Sunrise" stage.
Unlike some music groups that break up, Nic Chagall has stayed connected with Bossi, the other half of Cosmic Gate. They are still together and continue to perform at major venues and festivals around the world. In 2009, he also released his solo song "This Moment." It became a hit in clubs and on radio shows. He continues to host his radio show, "Get The Kicks." In 2014, he planned to release a new song and finish tracks for his first solo album.
