Nicholas Mears Loeb (born August 2, 1975) is an American businessman and actor. He is known for his work in movies and for starting several businesses.

Nick Loeb's Early Life and School
Nick Loeb is the son of John Langeloth Loeb Jr. and Meta Martindell Harrsen. His father was Jewish, and his mother was Episcopalian. He was baptized into the Episcopalian faith. His father was a United States Ambassador to Denmark from 1981 to 1983. He also worked as a delegate to the United Nations in 1984.
Nick's parents divorced when he was one year old. He grew up with his father in New York City. He went to the Collegiate School and Loomis Chaffee School. He also lived in Denmark for three years when his father was working there. In 1998, Nick graduated from Tulane University with a degree in management and finance.

After college, Nick Loeb started working in the film industry. He also began several businesses and got involved in politics.
Movies and TV Shows
Nick worked with director Mike Nichols on the movie Primary Colors. This was at Universal Studios, which was owned by his uncle. Later, Nick produced and acted in a movie called The Smokers. He also helped produce a documentary series for PBS called The Living Century with Barbra Streisand.
Business Ventures
Nick moved to Florida and worked for Lehman Brothers. He then started his own company, Carbon Solutions America. This company helps other businesses and governments with advice on climate change. He says his company helped create the country's first wine that produces no net carbon, called a "carbon neutral" wine.
In 2006, he started Loeb's Foods. In 2011, he founded the Crunchy Condiment Company. This company sells Onion Crunch, a fried onion topping. You can find their products in over 17,000 stores.
His Political Interests
Nick Loeb has also been involved in politics. In 2005, he ran for a position on the city commission in Delray Beach, Florida, but he did not win. In 2008, he helped with Rudy Giuliani's campaign to become president. Nick describes himself as a "Teddy Roosevelt Republican." This means he believes in ideas similar to those of former President Theodore Roosevelt. In 2011, he decided not to run for the United States Senate because of injuries he got in a car accident in 2010.
Nick Loeb's Personal Life
Nick Loeb was married to a Swedish model named Anna Pettersson, but they later divorced. In 2012, he became engaged to Sofía Vergara, an actress from the TV show Modern Family. They had been dating for two years. However, their engagement ended on May 23, 2014.
