Viewers could even join in the fun! A special webpage let them interact with the show while it was on TV. Nickelodeon Splat! was one of the last shows filmed at Nickelodeon Studios. This famous studio was located at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida. It closed its doors on April 30, 2005.
How the Game Was Played
Nickelodeon Splat! was all about teamwork and silly challenges. The game segments featured teams divided into three colors: green, yellow, and red.
These teams were made up of people from the audience. Sometimes, special guests from the Universal Studios Florida theme park also joined in. Teams had to complete funny tasks to win cool prizes.
The best part? The winning team got to be slimed at the end of the game! It was a messy, fun way to celebrate their victory.
Get Slimed at Home!
In 2004, a company called Jakks Pacific created a special toy. It was a gel-like compound that looked just like the famous slime from the show!
This toy was sold in 2005 under the name Splish Splat!. It let kids experience the fun of Nickelodeon slime right at home.
