Nicole Conn (born October 29, 1959) is an American film director, writer, and producer. She is well-known for her first movie, Claire of the Moon (1992), which tells a love story. She also wrote a book based on the movie's story.

Nicole Conn was born in Mesa, Arizona. She later went to Elliott Business College in Portland, Oregon, and finished her studies there.
Exploring a Career in Filmmaking
After college, Nicole Conn started her career in filmmaking. Her main goal was to share unique stories with more people. She wanted to make movies that were different from what you usually see.
Nicole Conn also helped start Preemie World. This is a website that connects doctors and nurses who work with very tiny babies (in the NICU, which stands for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) with parents of premature babies. It helps them find helpful information and tools.

In 2005, Nicole Conn made a documentary film called little man. This movie is about the very early birth of her son, Nicholas. He was born 100 days too soon and weighed only one pound, which is about the same as a small bag of sugar.
