Khoirunnisa, born on May 23, 1999, is better known as Nissa Sabyan. She is a talented Indonesian singer and the main vocalist of the music group Sabyan Gambus. Nissa became very popular for singing (or "covering") many songs with an Islamic feel, especially salawat (songs praising the prophet). Her music videos have been watched millions of times and often become trending topics on YouTube.

About Nissa Sabyan
Her Early Life
Nissa Sabyan, whose full name is Khairunnisa, was born on May 23, 1999. She was born in Bandung, West Java, and is the daughter of Komar Sabyan. Nissa grew up in Bandung until she finished 6th grade of primary school. After that, she moved to Jakarta. After finishing junior high school, Nissa went to a vocational high school. In 2018, when she was 19, Nissa hoped to study music in college. But for now, she is focusing on her music group.
Joining Sabyan Gambus
The group Sabyan Gambus became well-known because they often perform Islamic songs or prophet's prayers. They either sing their own new songs or cover existing ones. Sabyan Gambus is made up of several musicians who used to study at Islamic boarding schools in Jakarta.
The group first started by performing at weddings. Some of their most famous salawat songs, sung by Nissa Sabyan, include Ya Maulana, Deen Assalam, Ya Jamalu, Law Kana Bainanal Habib, Ya Habibal Qolbi, Rahman ya Rahman, Ya Asyiqol Musthofa, Ahmad Ya Habibi, Ya Taiba, Qomarun, and Assalamualaika ya Rasulullah.
