Noboru Yamaguchi (ヤマグチ ノボル, Yamaguchi Noboru, February 11, 1972 – April 4, 2013) was a Japanese author. He was known for writing light novels and stories for video games. He came from Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Many people knew him as the writer of The Familiar of Zero light novels and visual novels.
About His Life
Noboru Yamaguchi was born on February 11, 1972, in Hitachi, Ibaraki. He studied at Meiji University.
In July 2011, he shared some personal news. He had a serious illness that was found in February of that year. This illness made it hard for him to work on the last two books of his popular series, Zero no Tsukaima. Later, after a different surgery, doctors found that the illness had gotten smaller. This allowed him to have another surgery in August 2011.
On November 1, 2011, he was honored by Amazon.co.jp. He was added to a special "hall of fame" for Japanese books. He went back to the hospital in December 2011 and had another surgery in November 2012. Sadly, Noboru Yamaguchi passed away on April 4, 2013, when he was 41 years old. His family and publishers announced his death a few days later.
