Nobuo Fujishima (藤島 信雄, Fujishima Nobuo, born April 8, 1950) is a famous former Japanese football player and manager. He was a talented Midfielder who played for the Japan national team.

Playing for Clubs
Nobuo Fujishima was born in Akita, Japan, on April 8, 1950. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Nippon Kokan in 1969. He played for this club for many years.
Club Achievements
During his time with Nippon Kokan, the team won some important competitions. They won the 1980 JSL Cup in 1980. They also won the 1981 Emperor's Cup in 1981. These were big wins for the club.
Fujishima was a very good player. He was chosen for the "Best Eleven" team four times. This means he was one of the top 11 players in the league in those years. He received this honor in 1971, 1976, 1977, and 1978. He stopped playing club football in 1986.
Playing for Japan

Coaching Career
After he stopped playing football, Fujishima became a coach. He started coaching at his old club, Nippon Kokan.
In 1999, he became the coach for a club called YKK. This team played in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He helped the YKK club get promoted to a higher league, the Japan Football League, in 2001. He left his coaching role at YKK in 2002.
