Nobuyuki Hosaka (保坂 信之, Hosaka Nobuyuki, born July 23, 1970) is a former Japanese football player. He used to play as a midfielder, helping his team control the middle of the field. After his playing career, he became a coach. Today, he is the first-team coach for the J2 League club Tokyo Verdy.

Nobuyuki Hosaka's Playing Career
Nobuyuki Hosaka was born in Saitama, Japan, on July 23, 1970. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at Tokai University, he joined a football club called Yomiuri in 1990. This club later changed its name to Verdy Kawasaki.
Early Years and First Clubs
Hosaka spent his first few years playing for the reserve team at Yomiuri until 1992. Even though he was moved up to the main team in 1992, he didn't get to play in any official matches. He kept working hard and training with the team.
In 1994, Hosaka decided to move to a new club. He joined the Urawa Reds, which was a team from his hometown. At the start of 1994, he became a regular player. He played as a defensive midfielder, helping to protect his team's goal. However, he didn't play as much in the later part of 1994.
Moving to Kawasaki Frontale and Retirement
In 1996, Nobuyuki Hosaka joined another club called Fujitsu. This team was part of the Japan Football League, which was a different league at the time. Fujitsu later became known as Kawasaki Frontale. He played for Kawasaki Frontale until the end of the 1998 season. After that, he decided to retire from playing professional football.
