Nora Listach (born March 22, 1910 – died August 14, 1987) was an American baseball player. He was an outfielder in the Negro leagues during the 1940s.
Early Life and Baseball
Nora Listach was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He grew up with a love for baseball. He became a skilled outfielder. Outfielders play in the grassy area of the baseball field. Their job is to catch fly balls and throw them back to the infield.
Playing for the Black Barons
In 1941, Nora Listach joined the Birmingham Black Barons. This team was part of the Negro leagues. These leagues were special baseball leagues. They were for African American players. This was a time when professional baseball was segregated.
Listach played in nine recorded games for the Black Barons. During these games, he had 31 chances to bat. He managed to get eight hits. This showed his talent as a hitter.

Nora Listach had a grandson named Pat Listach. Pat also became a professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball. This made Nora and Pat a unique baseball family.
