Nora Mørk was born on April 5, 1991. She is a famous Norwegian handball player. She plays for Team Esbjerg and is a key member of the Norwegian national team.

Nora first played for the Norwegian national team on September 21, 2010. Before joining Team Esbjerg, she played for several other clubs. These include Bækkelaget, Aalborg DH, Njård, Larvik, Győr, CSM București, and Vipers Kristiansand.

She has achieved amazing success in her career. Nora has won the EHF Champions League six times with three different clubs. She has also won two gold medals and two silver medals at the IHF World Women's Handball Championship. At the European Women's Handball Championship, she has earned five gold medals. She also has one Olympic gold medal and two Olympic bronze medals.

Nora Mørk's Handball Journey

Playing for Clubs

Nora Mørk started her club career playing for Bækkelaget, Aalborg DH, and Njård IL. From 2009 to 2016, she played for Larvik HK. With Larvik, she won the Norwegian League and the Norwegian Cup five times. She also helped Larvik win the EHF Champions League in 2011.

From 2016 to 2019, Nora played for the Hungarian club Győri ETO KC. She won the Hungarian Championship three times with this team. She also won the EHF Champions League three more times with Győri.

In 2019, she moved to the Romanian club CSM București. However, she was injured during this time and could not play for the whole season.

From 2020 to 2022, she played for Vipers Kristiansand. With Vipers, she won the Norwegian League and Norwegian Cup twice. She also won the EHF Champions League two more times in 2021 and 2022.

Since 2022, Nora has been playing for the Danish club Team Esbjerg.

Playing for Norway

Nora Mørk has had a brilliant international career with the Norwegian national team. She won a gold medal at the 2010 European Women's Handball Championship. She started as a right wing player in this tournament.

After this, Nora faced some challenges with knee injuries for over three years. She made a strong return at the 2013 World Women's Handball Championship.

At the 2014 European Women's Handball Championship, she won another gold medal. She was also chosen as the best right back player of the championship. She won a gold medal with Norway at the 2015 World Women's Handball Championship. Again, she was named the all-star right back.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won a bronze medal with Norway. She was also the top scorer of the tournament with 62 goals.

In 2016, at the 2016 European Women's Handball Championship in Sweden, she won another gold medal. She was the top scorer with 53 goals and was named the all-star right back. She was also the top scorer at the 2017 World Women's Handball Championship in Germany with 66 goals. Norway won silver medals in this championship. After this, Nora had more knee injuries for three years.

She made another comeback and won a gold medal with Norway at the 2020 European Women's Handball Championship in Denmark. She was the top scorer with 52 goals. At the 2020 Summer Olympics (held in 2021), she was again the top scorer with 62 goals. The Norwegian team won a bronze medal.

Nora won a gold medal with the Norwegian team at the 2021 World Women's Handball Championship. She also won a gold medal at the 2022 European Women's Handball Championship, where she was the top scorer with 50 goals.
