Norihisa Shimizu (清水 範久, Shimizu Norihisa, born October 4, 1976) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder and forward during his career.

Norihisa Shimizu's Football Journey

Norihisa Shimizu was born in Takasaki, Gunma on October 4, 1976. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 1995.

Playing for Júbilo Iwata

Shimizu joined Júbilo Iwata in 1995. From 1997, he played many matches as an offensive midfielder and forward. He helped the club win the J1 League championship in 1997 and again in 1999. They also won the J.League Cup in 1998.

Júbilo Iwata also had success in Asia during this time. The club won the 1998–99 Asian Club Championship and was runner-up in the 1999–2000 Asian Club Championship.

In September 2000, Shimizu went on loan to J2 League club Consadole Sapporo. He returned to Júbilo Iwata in 2001. Later in 2001, he became a regular player for the team.

Time with Yokohama F. Marinos

In 2002, Shimizu moved to Yokohama F. Marinos. He played regularly as a forward that year. From 2003, even though he played less often, he still appeared in many matches as a substitute. During his time there, the club won the J1 League championship two years in a row, in 2003 and 2004.

Final Season and Retirement

In 2011, Shimizu moved to Avispa Fukuoka. However, he did not play many matches for this team. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2011 season.
