Norma Fleck Award facts for kids
The Norma Fleck Award for Canadian Children’s Non-Fiction is a special prize given to the best non-fiction book for young people in Canada. It was started in May 1999 by the Fleck Family Foundation and the Canadian Children's Book Centre. Each year, the winner gets CDN$10,000! This award is one of many given out by the Canadian Children's Book Centre. Other awards include the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award and the Geoffrey Bilson Award for Historical Fiction for Young People.
