The name "North Admiral" might sound a bit tricky. It combines the idea of being "north" of a key area called The Junction. It also uses the name of a main street, Admiral Way S.W. Even though Admiral Way runs east and west, the neighborhood is called North Admiral because of its location relative to other parts of West Seattle.
