The North Jutland Region is one of the five main areas that make up Denmark. It's like a big county or state. The main city, and where the government for the region is, is Aalborg.
This region is home to Aalborg Universitet, which is one of Denmark's five universities. Many of the region's cool museums and cultural spots are in Aalborg. These include the Nordjyllands Historiske Museum (a history museum), KUNSTEN (a modern art museum), Musikkens Hus (a music house), and the Utzon Center (a place for architecture and design). The North Jutland Region has many towns and cities. The biggest city is Aalborg, which is also the capital. It has over 120,000 people. Other important towns include Hjørring and Frederikshavn.
