North Woodbury is a small place in Morrow County, Ohio. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that don't have their own local government, like a city or a town. Instead, it's managed by the larger county government.

History of North Woodbury

North Woodbury was first planned out in 1830. When a place is "platted," it means someone drew a map showing where streets, lots for houses, and public areas would be. This helped people buy land and build homes in an organized way.

A post office was opened in North Woodbury in 1843. It was known as the Woodview post office. Post offices were very important back then because they were the main way people sent and received letters and packages. This post office served the community for many years, closing down in 1902.
