Norwood is in the northwestern part of East Feliciana Parish. You can find its exact spot using these coordinates: 30°58′10″N 91°6′20″W / 30.96944°N 91.10556°W.
Louisiana Highway 19 goes right through the village. This highway can take you about 39 miles south to Baton Rouge, a much larger city. If you go north on the highway for about 2 miles, you'll reach the border of Mississippi. The town of Centreville, Mississippi is nearby. Also, Clinton, which is the main town of East Feliciana Parish, is about 10 miles to the southeast.
