Nubieber is a small community in Lassen County, California. It used to be called Big Valley City and New Town. It's known as a census-designated place, which means it's an area the government counts for population, but it's not an official city or town. Nubieber is located about 3 miles (5 kilometers) southwest of Bieber. It sits at an elevation of about 4,121 feet (1,256 meters) above sea level. In 2020, only 19 people lived there.

History of Nubieber
The community of Nubieber was started in 1931. This happened when two important train lines, the Western Pacific Railroad and the Great Northern Railway, built their tracks to meet in this spot. The name "Nubieber" is a shorter way of saying "New Bieber." The first post office opened in Nubieber in the same year it was founded. The very first baby born in the settlement was Shirley Patricia Warren.
