Nuestra Señora de las Fuentes is a special kind of religious building called a monastery in Sariñena, a town in Spain. It's located in the Aragon region. This monastery was built for a group of monks called the Carthusians.

The building is famous for its beautiful style, known as Baroque. This style often includes lots of fancy decorations. What makes this monastery truly unique is the huge collection of religious paintings inside. It was first started in 1507 by a noble family, the Counts of Sástago.

== Amazing Paintings Inside == The inside walls of the monastery are covered with incredible artwork. From 1770 to 1780, an artist named Manuel Bayeu painted over 250 large pictures, called frescoes. A fresco is a painting done on wet plaster, which makes the colors last a very long time.

These paintings are known for their bright and vivid colors. They show many different scenes, including stories from the Gospels (which are parts of the Bible), the lives of important saints, and stories about the apostles. There are also many other religious themes shown in the artwork.
