Nueva Fuerabamba is a town in southern Peru. It is located in the Challhuahuacho District. This district is part of the Cotabambas Province. The province is in the Apurímac Region.
The town was built between 2012 and 2014. A company called Graña y Montero built it. Nueva Fuerabamba was made for the people of Fuerabamba. Their original community was affected by a large copper mine. This mine is called the Las Bambas copper mine. It is about 20.5 kilometers away.
