History of Nursery
Imagine getting a huge piece of land! On April 12, 1833, a man named Silvestre De León and his wife Rosalie received a very large area of land. This land, about 4,428 acres, was given to them by the Mexican government.
Later, in 1884, the community of Nursery was started on a part of this land. So, the town has roots going back to a big land grant from long ago.
