Nursery Days, originally called Songs to Grow on, Volume One: Nursery Days, is a special music album for children. It features songs by the famous American folk singer Woody Guthrie. The album was first released in 1951 by Folkways Records. Later, in 1992, it was re-released with four new songs by Smithsonian Folkways. Many songs on the album help kids learn things like counting. Other songs are sweet tunes Woody Guthrie wrote for his own children because he loved them so much.
