Odunlade Adekola Jonathan (born December 31, 1976) is a famous Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and director. He became very popular after starring in the 2003 movie Asiri Gomina Wa. Since then, he has acted in many Nollywood movies. He is also the founder and CEO of his own company, Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP).

Where Odunlade Grew Up
Odunlade Adekola was born and grew up in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. His family is originally from Otun Ekiti, which is in Ekiti State.
His School Journey
Odunlade went to St. John's Primary School and St. Peter's College in Abeokuta. After that, he earned a diploma certificate from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. He continued his studies and received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos in May 2018.

Starting in Acting
Odunlade Adekola started his acting career in 1996. In the same year, he joined a group for Nigerian theatre artists. Over the years, he has acted in, written, produced, and directed many Nigerian films. These films are often called Nollywood movies.
Awards and Recognition
In April 2014, Odunlade won the Africa Movie Academy Awards for the best actor of the year. He also started making music in December 2015. Many pictures of Odunlade from his movies are used as funny internet memes online in Nigeria.
Becoming a Brand Ambassador
On September 17, 2018, Odunlade Adekola became a brand ambassador for RevolutionPlus Property Development Company. This means he helps promote their business. He also works as a brand ambassador for other big companies like Goldberg beer and Globacom Telecommunications.

His Family and Faith
Odunlade Adekola's parents are Deaconess Adekola and Pastor Nathaniel A. Adekola. His father is a pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Abeokuta. When Odunlade was born, his father was the choirmaster at the church. Later, he became a pastor. Both of Odunlade's parents are religious leaders from Ekiti, Nigeria.
Marriage and Children
Odunlade married Ruth Adekola in 2003. They have five children together.
