Ole Krarup (born March 17, 1935 – died October 7, 2017) was a Danish politician. He was also a professor who taught about law at the University of Copenhagen. He spent many years working in the EU Parliament.

His Time as a Politician
From 1994 to 2006, Ole Krarup was a Member of the European Parliament, often called an MEP. An MEP is like a representative for their country in the European Parliament. This Parliament is a big group that helps make rules for countries in the European Union.
He was part of the People's Movement against the EU. This group believed that Denmark should not be part of the European Union. As an MEP, he worked on different important topics.
