Olofström, once known as Holje by, is a town in Blekinge County, Sweden. In 2010, about 7,327 people lived there.
In 1967, Olofström joined with the nearby villages of Kyrkhult and Jämshög. Together, they formed the Olofström Municipality. Olofström is the main town where the local government for the municipality is located. The town grew a lot in the 1950s and 1960s because more people started using cars. Today, the car industry is very important here. Volvo Cars is the biggest employer in Olofström.

Olofström Church: A Place of Worship
The Olofström Church (Olofströms kyrka) is part of Jämshög's parish. A parish is like a local church district. This church belongs to the Diocese of Lund, which is a larger church area.
The first building was a small chapel built in 1933. It was rebuilt and made bigger in 1962. Architects Hanna and Roy Victorson helped with this project. Later, in 1986, an entrance hall and a new wing were added. These parts were designed by the architectural firm K.E. Dudzik.
Education and Special Schools
Olofström is home to Nordenbergsskolan, which is a gymnasium. A gymnasium is a type of high school in Sweden. This school is special because it has unique programs.
Nordenbergsskolan has one of the few orienteering schools in Sweden. Orienteering is a sport where you use a map and compass to find your way. It also has the only archery school in Sweden. Archery is the sport of shooting arrows with a bow.
Sports Teams in Olofström
Olofström has several sports teams that young people might enjoy following. The town is home to a football (soccer) club called Olofströms IF
.There is also a floorball club, Olofströms IBK. Floorball is a fast-paced team sport played indoors with sticks and a light ball. For ice hockey fans, Olofström has the team Olofströms IK.
