The Omusati Region is one of the fourteen regions in Namibia, a country located in southern Africa. Its capital city is Outapi. This region is known for its natural beauty and important historical sites.
Omusati is home to the amazing Ruacana Falls, a large waterfall on the Kunene River. It also holds the Omugulugwombashe Heritage Site. This place is very important in Namibian history. It is where the struggle for Namibia's independence began in 1966. This fight eventually led to Namibia becoming a free country.
