One Tree Hill is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand. It's named after the famous Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill volcanic peak, which is actually inside the suburb! The main living areas are to the east and south-east of this special hill.
This area started growing in the 1930s, and you can still see many old-style houses from that time. Two big parks, Cornwall Park and Maungakiekie, are popular places to visit here.
