Opine, sometimes spelled O'Pine, is a small, unincorporated community located in Covington County, Alabama, in the United States. Opine has a short but interesting history. For a time, it even had its own post office! This post office served the community from 1880 until 1891. Having a post office was a big deal back then, as it helped people send and receive letters and packages.
