Optima Signature is a tall apartment building in Chicago. It used to be called Optima Chicago Center II. This 57-story skyscraper is located in the Streeterville area of Chicago's Near North Side. It was built by Optima Inc. and DeBartolo Development. People started moving in during June 2017. The building has 490 homes inside.

Building History
How Optima Signature Started
The building was first named Optima Chicago Center II. It was planned to be a 55-story building. It would stand next to the Optima Chicago Center, which was finished in 2013. At first, they thought about making it a mix of a hotel and apartments.
Construction Begins
By late 2014, construction began. The plans changed, and it became a 57-story building with only apartments. It was designed to have 498 homes.
Finishing the Building
Construction stopped for a few months for more planning. Then, it started again in mid-2015. Big banks like Bank of America, PNC Bank, and Fifth Third Bank helped fund the building. The final plans were set in 2015, changing the number of apartments to 490. The building was completed in 2017.

Apartment Types
The Optima Signature building has 57 floors and 490 apartments. These homes are split into two fancy types:
- Tower Residences: These are on the lower floors. There are 351 apartments here. They include studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom homes. Their sizes range from about 571 to 1316 square feet.
- Apex Residences: These are on the top 15 floors. There are 139 apartments in this section. They have one, two, or three bedrooms, plus very large penthouse apartments. These homes are bigger, from about 747 to 2583 square feet. Apex units have nicer finishes and special features. People living in Apex units also get access to a private club.
Building Features
Everyone living in the building can use two floors of fun facilities. These include places for sports and social gatherings. The building also has a large area for shops and businesses, about 58,000 square feet.
