Orange is a small place in Delaware County, Ohio. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's not an official city or town with its own local government. It's part of a larger county area.
History of Orange, Ohio
Orange has had a few different names over the years. Some people knew it as Goodingdale, Orange Station, or Williamsville.
The area known as Orange Station was officially mapped out in 1852. Before that, in 1838, a post office opened there. It was called Williamsville. The name of this post office changed to Orange Station in 1860. However, it closed down in 1879. Later, another post office called Goodingdale operated in the area from 1898 until 1904.
