Orrville's History
A Look at Orrville's Past
Orrville had a post office that opened its doors in 1895. This post office helped people send and receive letters and packages. It stayed open for about nine years before it closed down in 1904.
Interestingly, two different people from the Orr family worked as the postmasters during that time. A postmaster is the person in charge of a post office. This connection to the Orr family might be how the community got its name!
