Osa is located in a pretty area of Missouri. You can find it along Missouri Route JJ. It's about 1.5 miles north of another small place called Revisville. If you travel about three miles to the east, you'll reach the town of Crane, which is in the next county over, Stone County.

Even though Osa is a small community, it has a bit of history. A post office was opened there in 1895. This was an important place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for several years before it closed in 1908. The exact reason or story behind the name "Osa" isn't clearly known today.
