Osage is a small place in Jefferson County, Ohio, located in the state of Ohio in the United States. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it's not officially a city or a town with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger Jefferson County.

Osage had a post office that opened in 1890. This was an important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office stayed open for about 19 years, closing in 1909. Besides the post office, Osage also had a Lutheran church. Churches were often central gathering places for communities, offering a place for worship and social events.
