Osbert Edwin Williams Jr. (born December 15, 1875 – died October 25, 1917) was an early airplane pilot and builder. He was one of the first people to fly and teach others how to fly. He also started his own company, the Williams Aeroplane Company.

Becoming an Aviation Pioneer

Before getting into aviation, Osbert worked for the railroad. He became very interested in airplanes. This was a new and exciting field at the time. He decided to dedicate his work to flying.

He opened a flying school in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Here, he taught many people how to pilot airplanes. He also started a company to build airplanes. This company was called the Williams Aeroplane Company.

Osbert Edwin Williams Jr. passed away on October 25, 1917. He died in Mobile, Alabama.
