Osvaldo Fattori (born 22 June 1922 – died 27 December 2017) was a famous Italian footballer. He played as a defender or a midfielder. This means he was good at stopping the other team from scoring goals and also at helping his own team attack.

Osvaldo Fattori was born in San Michele Extra, Italy. He played for many different football clubs during his career. He also played for the Italian national team. He passed away in Milan, Italy, when he was 95 years old.

Osvaldo Fattori had a long and successful career in football. He started playing when he was young and became a very important player for the teams he joined.

Starting Out: Early Clubs

Fattori began his football journey with a club called Audace from 1939 to 1941. After that, he moved to Vicenza, where he played from 1941 to 1946. He played 93 games for Vicenza and scored 4 goals.

Playing for Sampdoria

In 1946, Osvaldo Fattori joined Sampdoria. He played 35 games for them during the 1946–1947 season. Even though he didn't score any goals for Sampdoria, he was a key part of their defense.

Time at Inter Milan

One of the most important parts of Fattori's career was his time at Inter Milan. He played for Inter from 1947 to 1954. During these seven years, he played in 178 games and scored 7 goals. Inter Milan is one of Italy's biggest football clubs, and playing for them was a big achievement.

Later Career with Brescia

After leaving Inter, Fattori moved to Brescia. He played for Brescia from 1954 until 1959. He played 87 games for Brescia and scored 6 goals before he retired from playing professional football.

Playing for Italy

Osvaldo Fattori also had the honor of playing for his country, Italy. He played four games for the main national team between 1949 and 1950.
