Otjozondjupa is one of the 14 regions in the country of Namibia. It is located in the central part of Namibia. The main city and capital of this region is Otjiwarongo.
This region is known for its beautiful natural areas. One famous place here is the Waterberg Plateau Park. It is a large park with amazing wildlife and a unique flat-topped mountain.

Who Leads the Region?
Each region in Namibia has a leader called a Governor. The Governor helps manage the region and its people. Since 2020, James Uerikua has been the Governor of the Otjozondjupa Region.
How the Region is Divided
For easier management, Otjozondjupa is divided into smaller areas. These areas are called constituencies. There are 7 constituencies in the Otjozondjupa Region:

Waterberg Plateau Park

Hoba Meteorite
Near the town of Grootfontein, you can find the Hoba meteorite. This is the largest known meteorite on Earth. It is a huge piece of rock from space. It weighs about 60 tons! Scientists believe it fell to Earth about 80,000 years ago. It is a very cool sight to see.
