Otsego is a small place in Wood County, Ohio. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
History
Otsego began a long time ago, even before the year 1834. One of the first important things built there was a sawmill. A sawmill is a place where logs are cut into planks and boards. In the early days, sawmills were very important for building houses and other structures in new settlements.
