A Look Back in Time
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church first opened its doors in 1939. It is thought to be the very last church to open before the outbreak of the Second World War began.
The church also has a special house called a presbytery. This building was opened in 1953 and is now used as the church's main office and address.
The current priest, who leads the church community, is Father David Manson. He has been the priest here since 2016.
