Ebeguowen "Owen" Otasowie, born on January 6, 2001, is an American former professional soccer player. He played as a defensive midfielder, which means he helped protect his team's defense and win the ball back from opponents.

Club Career Highlights
Playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers
Owen Otasowie started his journey in the youth academy of Wolverhampton Wanderers, often called "Wolves." He worked his way up through the ranks.
His first game with the senior team was on December 12, 2019. This was during a UEFA Europa League match against Beşiktaş. He came into the game as a substitute.
On January 1, 2020, Owen signed a new contract with Wolves, showing the club believed in his talent.
Premier League Debut
Owen made his first appearance in the Premier League, England's top soccer league, on December 15, 2020. He came on as a substitute in a game where Wolves beat Chelsea 2–1.
During this game, he even helped set up Wolves' first goal, which was scored by Daniel Podence. Just a few days later, on December 21, 2020, he played his first full Premier League game against Burnley.
Moving to Club Brugge
On August 20, 2021, Owen moved to Club Brugge, a team in Belgium's top league, the Belgian First Division A. The transfer fee was reported to be about £3.5 million.
He made his debut for Club Brugge on July 17, 2022. This was during their victory in the 2022 Belgian Super Cup against Gent. Later in 2022, Owen faced some challenges at Club Brugge and stopped playing for the team.
International Career
Owen Otasowie also represented the United States on the international stage.
Youth and Senior Team Appearances
He first played for the U.S. Under-18 team. His good performances led to him being called up to the senior United States national team in November 2020.
He made his senior international debut on November 12, 2020. He came on in the 87th minute of a game against Wales, which ended in a 0–0 draw.

Outside of soccer, Owen Otasowie has also been involved in fashion.
