Očauš is a mountain located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a tall mountain, reaching a height of 1,402 meters (about 4,600 feet) at its highest point, called Mihailovac peak. Most of this mountain is found within the areas of Kotor Varoš and Teslić.
About Očauš Mountain
Očauš mountain stretches from the southeast to the northwest. It lies between the river basins of the Vrbanja river and the Ukrina river. This mountain is a great place for nature, with lots of forests and open fields for grazing animals.
Nature and Resources
Očauš is very rich in natural resources. Its forests provide valuable timber, and its pastures are perfect for livestock. The mountain also has many water sources. You can find lots of water wells, small streams, and even rivers flowing from Očauš.
