Paige Parker, born on May 7, 1995, is a talented Australian athlete. She plays both Australian rules football and rugby league. Currently, she plays rugby league for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL Women's Premiership.
Before joining the Broncos, Paige played Australian rules football for the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast Suns. These teams are part of the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition. She also played rugby league for the Newcastle Knights in the NRLW.
Paige Parker's Early Life and Sports
Paige grew up in Bracken Ridge, a northern suburb of Brisbane. Her family has Indigenous Australian heritage, specifically from the Quandamooka group.
She went to St John Fisher College. During her school years, Paige was very good at touch football. She played for the Brisbane Broncos in touch football. She even represented Australia at the World Cup.
Paige also played Australian rules football when she was younger. She played for the Coorparoo Football Club in the AFL Queensland Women's League. Her skills led her to be chosen by the Brisbane Lions. She was the ninth player picked in the 2018 AFL Women's draft.
Paige's AFLW Career Highlights
Paige Parker made her first appearance for the Brisbane Lions in 2019. Her debut game was against the Greater Western Sydney Giants. This exciting match took place on February 3, 2019, at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex.
After the 2019 season, Paige moved to play for the Gold Coast Suns. She played 13 games for the Suns over two seasons. In June 2021, she left the Gold Coast team.

On December 3, 2021, Paige Parker joined the Newcastle Knights. She was part of their very first NRL Women's Premiership team. This was a big step for the Knights as they started their journey in the league.
Paige made her NRLW debut for the Knights in 2021. This game was against the Gold Coast Titans. It was a memorable moment in her rugby league career.
In June 2022, Paige signed with the Brisbane Broncos. She joined their team for the 2022 season. She continues to be a strong player in the NRLW.
