Their elder daughter, Dr. Anuradha Dilip, works as an Ayurveda Medical Officer. Their younger daughter, Anuja Akathoottu, is an agricultural economist. Anuja also writes poems in Malayalam and has published two books. She has won many state-level poetry awards for her work.
